The Real Co-hosts Responds To Tamar Braxton’s Firing + The Reason She Was Let Go

The RealAfter Tamar Braxton was fired from The Real over the weekend she posted about being stabbed in the back. This prompted speculation that one of her co-hosts was the culprit. Now all four remaining hosts have posted their support to Tamar on social media and reports have surfaced that the executives of the show just had enough of Tamar’s behavior.

Tamera Mowry-Housley, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon and Jeanie posted their love for Tamar:

Daily Mail is reporting that Tamar was let go because of negative feedback on her ‘ghetto’ persona from focus groups as well as her on-set antics and a rebellion by advertisers.

But during the final tapings of The Real in early May, the show’s executive producer had reached breaking point with Tamar, who cursed her out in earshot of other staffers on set after being upset she lost a game during the taping.
‘It was an ugly scene. Pinterest was sponsoring the segment and Tamar was genuinely upset she was losing the game.

‘She really acted out during the taping in front of the studio audience and then exploded behind the scenes once the show was done.
Producers had to heavily edit the segment to make it presentable to air on TV, but the sponsor was on set for the segment and witnessed it all,’ the source explains.

According to production people on the show, Tamar’s outbursts on set were frequent. She regularly blew up at the executive producer and oftentimes her husband Vincent Hubert or her co-hosts would work to calm her down.
‘Let’s just say she was becoming unbearable to work with,’ the source added.

Add to that, supposedly, the focus group research showed that most educated and working women did not identify with Tamar’s show vernacular and her use of phrases like “get your life,” “where they do that at,” “have several seats.”

The research allegedly went on to say that most educated and working women found her to be ‘ghetto’ and that her aggressive eye-rolling, neck-rolling and the smacking of her mouth were indicative of ‘stereotypical behavior that African American women have worked years to overcome,” a source tells DM.

The powers that be apparently surprised all five hosts with calls over the weekend letting them know that Tamar was out.

Loni posted a video after Wendy Williams insinuated on her show that Loni leaked the story about the firing:
