Tamar Braxton is bouncing back from being fired from The Real. A week-and-a-half after being given the boot, she has signed on with Steve Harvey to do her own talk show.

Steve, along with Tamar, announced on his radio show Thursday he has signed a deal to produce a new show for her.

“We saw the opportunity of what people may recognize as the end, but it’s not. It’s such a beginning. She has such a bright future. She is such a star. She has so much to offer,” he said.

Tamar also opened up on about being fired. She said her husband and manager, Vincent Herbert, broke the news of her firing from The Real.

“He was just like, ‘I think you got fired, I think.’ I’m like, ‘What you talking about? Fired for what?’ My heart sunk into my shoes, really. I pretty much fell over…This is not a setback, this is a setup. I feel like if you don’t look at things like this as a blessing, it won’t be a blessing. I definitely feel like it is and I feel like from here, it’s onward and upward,” she said.

After the announcement of the new show Tamar posted to Instagram:
