Voletta Wallace Slams Kylie And Kendall Jenner For Using Biggie’s Image Without Permission

Not quite sure what they were thinking but Kylie and Kendall Jenner thought that it was okay to use several musicians image without permission to sell t-shirts. One of the images used was of Notorious B.I.G. as well as Tupac Shakur. They also used images of Black Sabbath, Metallica, Pink Floyd, the Doors, Kiss and Led Zeppelin. The shirts went on sale on their website, selling for $125 each and featuring the logo “Repurposed in the USA.”

Biggie’s mother, Voletta Wallace was having non of it and quickly made that clear to the sisters and the public. Ms. Wallace posted a photo of one of the t-shirts with a red X thru it, saying:

I am not sure who told @kyliejenner and @kendalljenner that they had the right to do this. The disrespect of these girls to not even reach out to me or anyone connected to the estate baffles me. I have no idea why they feel they can exploit the deaths of 2pac and my Son Christopher to sell a t-shirt. This is disrespectful , disgusting, and exploitation at its worst!!!

Sharon Osbourne also let them have for using her husband Ozzy’s face. She blasted them on Twitter, posting, “Girls, you haven’t earned the right to put your face with musical icons. Stick to what you know…lip gloss.”

The lawyer for Biggie’s estate sent the sisters a cease and desist letter and the shirts were later removed and Kendall posted a statement on Twitter, saying:
