Wendy Williams Returns To Work, Talks About Fainting On Air

Wendy Williams returned to work a day after passing out on live tv. She explained, contrary to what some people think, it was no stunt. “A lot of people thought that was a joke, me fainting on my set. No, that was not a joke. I’m a tall woman, and it’s a long way down.”

She got emotional as she describes what it felt like as she crumpled to the floor.

She also said she had been checked out by the paramedics and did not have a stroke or a heart attack but that she was low on electrolytes.

“I’m a 53-year-old, middle-aged woman going through what middle-aged women go through if you know what I mean,. The costume got hot. All the sudden right before passing out, I felt like I was in the middle of a campfire.”

She thanked well wishers as well as the hater. “No, I wasn’t stroking out. And for people who thought that I was, trying to get this purple chair next, nope, I’m here for a long time.”
