Regina King Wins Best Supporting Actress Oscar

Regina King walked away with the Academy Award for best supporting actress at the Oscar Award Sunday night for her role in If Beale Street Could Talk. The actress won every award leading up to the Oscars so she went in as the favorite to win. She thank her mom and God during her acceptance speech.

She becomes the ninth black actress to win an Oscar.

Regina has been working in the industry for 33 years, acting, directing and producing. Her win is well deserved.
