Shaquille O’Neal’s Wife Files For Separation

Shaquille O’Neal’s wife Shaunie has reportedly flown to Los Angeles and filed a petition for legal separation in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Shaunie filed legal papers yesterday in L.A., even though the couple lives in Florida, reports TMZ.
Shaunie pulled her kids out of school in Florida several days ago and they are with her now in L.A.
Supposedly the reason Shaunie has flown cross the country to L.A. is a spouse generally does a lot better in a divorce in California.
Rumors have been circulating on the internet that Shaq is having an affair with Laura Govan who is the very pregnant fiancee of NBA player Gilbert Arenas.
The date of separation is listed as 11-9-09. The couple has 4 minor children. Shaunie wants legal and physical custody of all the kids.
This is the second separation for the couple. They first separated two years ago when Shag filed for divorce and accused Shaunie of being secretive about her assets. The couple then reunited in August 2008.
