A.J. Jewell’s Death Ruled A Homicide

The medical examiner has ruled the death of Ashley “A.J.” Jewell a homicide. According to the medical examiner’s report:
“Although Mr. Jewell died of complications of his underlying natural disease conditions, [the] complications would not have occurred if he had not experienced the extreme exertion that was part of the physical altercation. Due to the active involvement of another person, the manner of death is classified as a homicide.”
A.J.’s family is said to be upset at the report because they feel it also blames A.J.’s medical condition instead of only the man arrested in his death.
“Although the medical examiner’s report released to us yesterday does classify my son’s death as homicide, the report is contradictory because it simultaneously blames a ‘sickle cell crisis’,” said the Rev. A.B. Jewell, Sr.
Frederick Richardson is free on bail and there is no word on when or if the district attorney will upgrade the charges against him.
A.J. was the ex-fiance of The Real Houswives Of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss.
