Terrence Howard’s Engagement Off
Terrence Howard is back on the market. The actor got engaged a couple months ago reportedly to actress Zulay Hanao but he tells S2S Magazine that it is over. He didn’t give details but told the magazine: “That [it] didn’t work out.”
He is supposedly taking time to work on himself before getting back in the dating game. Which he might actually be doing based on his recent interview with Redbook magazine where he was discussing the movie The Princess And The Frog. He said he wishes he could apologize to all the women he ever dated for the way he acted in the relationships.
Have they (his daughters) changed the way you view women?
Young men tend to come into relationships feeling very strong and powerful, and they make a lot of mistakes. But they soften when they have daughters. You see women through a whole different light because now you know that they were once someone’s little girl. I wish I’d had this knowledge when I was 20 — I wish I could call all the women I’ve ever dated and apologize. I didn’t know how precious they were. I know better now.If a fairy godmother could grant you one insight into women, what would it be?
How to better communicate. A man will say something that in his mind is completely appropriate, even poignant, but the woman will hear it very differently. There’s such frustration in that.Do you believe there’s a Prince (or Princess) Charming for everyone?
Yes, you have to believe that or the world stops spinning. The first Prince Charming in our lives is our father, and the first Princess Charming is our mother. I think parents should show their children how to love, how they should be loved.
