Busta Rhymes Ordered To Pay Up $75K
A man who claims that Busta Rhymes assaulted him with a water bottle has been awarded $75,000.
Alex Duncan went to show to see Fabolous on the SUNY-Albany campus in 2003. Fabolous didn’t show and Alex got up to leave as Busta got on stage.
His standing up drew Rhymes’ attention, Alex testified. “You didn’t hear me say, ‘Get down?’ ” Rhymes asked.
“I don’t got to move,” Alex replied — and in an ensuing exchange, he added that he’d come to to see Fabolous, not Busta.
That seemed to make Busta angry. “I’m not good for you?” he asked. Alex says Busta then splashed him with one bottle of water and pelted him with two more. Also, he said, Busta’s bodyguard punched him.
Alex says the incident has left psychological damages and he has nightmares because of the attack.
Busta missed seven hearings so Alex was awarded a default judgement.
Let’s see if he collects that judgement cause rumors have it that Busta is broke.
