Katt Williams Sued For $1 Million
Katt Williams just stays in the headlines with one lawsuit or arrest after another. The latest is Katt is being sued by a studio owner for $1 million.
AllHipHop.com reports Katt had been using Merion Powers’ recording studio for comedy routines. Last October, Katt went to the studio with his “attack dog” by his side and allegedly gave his dog a verbal command, then Katt’s dog jumped on a dog owned by Powers.
In December Katt told Powers to meet him at a Four Seasons hotel to discuss the dog attack incident. At the meeting, Powers told Katt he was thinking about filing criminal charges over the dog attack. Katt allegedly responded by threatening to kill Powers and punching him in the face.
Now Powers now wants $1 million in damages in damages for assault, battery, false imprisonment, damage to property and intentional infliction of emotional distress, as well as the allegedly unpaid recording bill.
Umm, yeah. Good luck with that.
