T.R. Knight is leaving Grey’s Anatomy according to EW.com.
Multiple sources confirm that T.R. Knight has asked to be released from his contract and it seems Shonda Rhimes and ABC will grant his request. “They’re working out the details now,” says an ABC insider.
No final airdate has been announced and he has reportedly not walked off the show as reported the blog crazydaysandnights.com. “He’s still working,” a source tells EW.com.
Knight wanting to leave apparently does not have anything to do with the incident with Isaiah Washington. ”He just feels it’s time to move on.”
