Fish Tank Starts Fire In Tracy Morgan’s Apartment
There was a fire Tracy Morgan’s Upper West Side apartment that started in a fish tank.
The fire start a little after 8:30 a.m. inside the 30 Rock Star’s luxury high-rise apartment.
The fire was apparently started by a broken light bulb in the comedian’s fish tank, reports ABC News.
Tracy was at home but was not injured.
Morgan to give thanks to the Fire Department.
“Fortunately, the fire did not spread and no one was in the building was hurt. Even the fish are okay,” he said in a statement.
“My thanks to the New York Fire Department for their quick action.”
The luxury apartment building is part of Trump Place, the large residential complex south of 72nd Street on the Hudson River.
All the fishes in the tank, including a shark, survived the blaze.
