Jewel Says She’ll Still Dance
Jewel says she’ll still compete on the next season of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars despite her injured knees.
“Yes, it is true I have had a minor setback in my training for Dancing with the Stars, but I am dedicated to getting better and showing the judges and America that I can cha cha with the best of them,” she says in a statement to UsMagazine.com. “Don’t count me out, as I am in this for the long run.”
On Wednesday, she posted on her blog that she has tendonitis in her knees, and she may be forced to scrap her gig.
