Gladys Knight And Taraji P. Henson To Star In Tyler Perry Film
Gladys Knight and Taraji P. Henson will star in Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All By Myself.
Also in the movie are Brian J. White and Marvin Winans. The film is about an alcoholic jazz singer forced to take care of her dead sister’s three children. Gladys will play a church secretary, and White plays Taraji’s boyfriend. Winans will play a pastor in the film.
Shooting starts March 16 at Tyler’s newly opened studio complex in Atlanta and is set for release Sept. 11, reports Black Voices.
The movie is based on Tyler’s play of the same name.
