Beyonce has announced that she has partnered with personal trainer and exercise physiologist Marco Borges to launch 22 Days Nutrition. The singer and her husband, Jay Z, took the 22 Days Nutrition challenge in the winter of 2013 with her husband and has tried to include more plant-based foods in her everyday diet. Jay Z has entered the fragrance business launching his first men’s eau de toilette, GOLD JAY Z. It will debut on Friday, November 29th at major department stores throughout the U.S. The mogul created the cologne with Firmenich perfumer Ilias Ermenidis.
According to the press release: Gold Jay Z is “a fragrance that reflects an unmistakable ultra luxurious signature. Inspired by an icon, the white fougere fragrance is perfected through a layered blend of yellow ginger, white cardamom and grapefruit with a hint of blueberry. At the heart, a refined infusion of violet leaf, cypress, lavender and luxurious vetiver with a thread of pink pepper gives a tailored, modern signature. A rich note crafted with golden amber, patchouli, teak and bourbon vanilla give a final shot of gilded sensuality.”
Designed by Jay, the fragrance is in a pure white matte flask with the GOLD JAY Z logo raised and etched in gold. As expressed in the gilded cap, “Power,” “Pride,” “Confidence,” “Strength,” “Success,” and “Courage,” captures the essence of GOLD JAY Z.
The scent will go for: 3.0 oz Eau de Toilette Spray, $70, the 1.7 oz, $55 and the 1.0 oz costs $39.
Rihanna has just unveiled her advertising campaign for her fourth fragrance, Rogue shot by Mario Sorrenti. The singer explained creating the fragrance, saying: “People are always changing and evolving and with Rogue I wanted to switch it up to reflect who I am today. I made it for all women, for every mood, because we all want to project our true selves.”
The scent is described as “flirty, sensual Oriental” blend of lemon blossom, cyclamen, jasmine, rose, plum and suede over a musky base of woods, patchouli, vanilla and amber.
It will be available in September at Macy’s, Dillard’s and Belk. Prices will range from $18 to $69.
Nicki Minaj unveiled the bottle of her Pink Friday fragrance on Twitter this morning. The rapper whipped her fans into a frenzy with the photo, telling them the perfume smells like “angels playing,” whatever that means. The fragrance will be released late September.
