LL Cool J Among Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Nominees
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced its nominees for 2010.
The list includes LL Cool J, Jimmy Cliff, Kiss, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Donna Summer, Darlene Love, ABBA, the Chantels, the Stooges, Genesis, The Hollies and songwriter Laura Nyro.
Only five acts make it in. The 25th annual induction ceremony is slated for March 15 in New York City. The inductees will be announced in December.
Jay-Z And Whitney Houston Top The Billboard Charts
Jay-Z is seen leaving the Plaza Athenee Hotel in Paris, France this afternoon.
Jay-Z’ album Blueprint 3 is number 1 this week selling 298,000 copies. Whitney Houston’s I Look To You sold 156,000 copies bringing her in at number 2. Her album has sold 548,000 copies to date.
Jay-Z called in to the Angie Martinez show from Paris to talk about being number 1. He also talked about Lil Mama rushing the stage during the VMAs.
