For all those dying for new music from Lauryn Hill, we’re getting closer. L-Boogie sat down with MTV after her second performance on the Rock The Bells Tour and she said she is getting closer to releasing new music:
I have respect for what people do. I also like to hear the eclectics, I like to hear the mixture. There’s a lot of different creative energies out there right now. I respect the different sounds that I’m hearing. It’s been such a long time since I’ve gotten my voice and my ideas [out]. In terms of collaborations, that’s not even something I’ve been thinking about per se. I’m happy that people are still making music. That we still have a platform with which to make music. It’s gonna be interesting to see what the future holds. We’re getting closer. That’s all I can say.

Paula Patton has been cast in the lead female role for Mission Impossible 4. She will play a young operative who works with Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt character. Paula beat out actresses Lauren German and Kristen Kreuk for the role. The film begins production in the fall.
Paula also recently signed to join the cast of Law & Order: SVU.
Ne-Yo did an interview with Cleveland’s 107.9 Hip Hop Station where he discussed his new album and the upcoming birth of his child. He says they are not engaged because he is not ready to get married. He says Monyetta is his best friend and she knows where his heart is.
After an internet rumor popped up that Beyonce had gotten rid of her father as her manager and replaced him with Jay-Z, Mathew Knowles released this statement:
“Contrary to false rumors online, Beyoncé and her manager Mathew Knowles unequivocally have had and continue to have a close personal and business relationship. Mathew Knowles is the sole and exclusive manager of Beyoncé.”?
