Kanye West finally got his wish. He has been campaigning for his fiancee to cover Vogue magazine and now it has finally happened with the April 2014 issue. Anna Wintour however did not let Kim have her own cover, she had to share it with Kanye.
He previously told Ryan Seacrest, “There’s no way Kim Kardashian shouldn’t be on the cover of Vogue. She’s like the most intriguing woman right now…and collectively, we’re the most influential in clothing. No one is looking at what Obama is wearing. Michelle Obama can’t Instagram a pic like what my girl Instagrammed the other day.”
The couple is also joined in the spread by their daughter North West. Read more
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s wedding is scheduled for May and seems to have hit a snag. Kanye reportedly wanted his good friend Jay Z to be his best man but Jay has backed out because of Kim’s reality show.
The Daily Star reports:
“Jay is Kanye’s closest friend so he wants him to be best man.
“Jay agreed initially but had one condition – under no circumstances can there be any reality TV shows filming him, his wife Beyoncé or daughter Blue Ivy during the ceremony.”
“The thought of popping up in KUWTK mortifies Beyoncé.
“She purposefully keeps herself away from trashy TV and isn’t prepared to lower her standards for anyone, or any occasion.”
Kim is unlikely to pass up the potential millions to televise the wedding so don’t look for Jay as the best man.
Kanye West has paid the 18-year-old he allegedly beat down at a Beverly Hills doctor office earlier this month. The rapper is said to have paid the teenager more than $250,000, reports RadarOnline.
The teen reportedly wanted to avoid the public spectacle that would come with a trial so attorneys for both sides entered into negotiations for a settlement last week.
The alleged assault took place after Kim Kardashian claimed the teenager hurled racial slurs at her while at the chiropractor’s office. She phoned Kanye who arrived at the the scene and punched the teen more than 30 times.
Now that he has settled with the teen the District Attorney’s Office is not likely to pursue criminal charges against Kanye.
Kim Kardashian appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and she brought along pictures of her and Kanye West’s daughter, North West. She talked about having more kids and the recent incident with Kanye.

Kanye West is making a few changes for the new year. The rapper claims he will no longer go on his famous rants, for at least six months. During his last Yeezus concert of the year in Toronto, Canada, he made a 27-minute-long speech announcing his plan to not talk “sh*t” in 2014.
“Everything I’m saying that’s not allowed, soak it in right now. This might be the last time y’all hear me talk sh*t for a long time. Might be another, like, six months. At least. You’re just gonna have to run back the interviews and sh*t if you wanna hear some realness!
I’m gonna tell y’all right now: All of the ideas, the things they call rants…save those tapes and everything. Because I’ve decided to completely focus everything in 2014 on all the new ideas, all the creative outlets.
I’m not [going to] ever bring up Nike again. The only way I’ll bring them up is in a positive light. Because I actually appreciate the opportunity to have been able to make my own shoe with them, and if I didn’t have the opportunity I wouldn’t have my deal I have with Adidas right now.
I’ll never bring up the Grammys again in a negative light. Because I actually appreciate the 21 Grammys that I did win. I’m not gonna be the dude who has all the opportunities in the world and just focuses on the negative and complains about it.
So I’m letting y’all know in this last Yeezus show that this is the last time you’ll ever hear me say anything negative about anyone. Because you only get the energy that you put out into the world.
I feel like I really want to be expressive with my work, with my music. I want to be expressive with this opportunity I have with Adidas, and just go home to my family.”
