Christina Milian is the cover girl for Latina magazine’s May 2015 issue. The singer/actress discusses her relationship with Lil Wayne, being a mother and learning from her mistakes.
Here’s an excerpt and photos from the mag:
On learning from her mistakes: “I’m not afraid to blame myself for any of my own faults or just to analyze things in a different way, but I don’t overanalyze either. I still gotta live life, but being able to look at myself and recognize my own faults makes me the more mature Christina that I am today.”
On her relationship with Lil Wayne: “The deal is he’s my man…crush. I think he’s awesome. He and I have a very special relationship and I think I’ve always been very careful with it publicly because when you have something special it’s like everybody picks apart words. They’ll pick apart a moment in a picture and take something that’s special and trash it.”
On being a single mom to daughter Violet Madison: “I’m doing everything in my power to be a great mother. I wish I could be with her throughout the day, because I’m always working, but I make sure that whether it’s the morning or nighttime, I make it extra special.”

Lil Wayne is apparently disgruntled with Birdman and Cash Money Records. He took to Twitter today to alert his fans that the delay on The Carter V is not his fault. In a series of Tweets he said:
“To all my fans, I want you to know that my album won’t and hasn’t been released bekuz Baby and Cash Money Records refuse to release it. This is not my fault. I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation.
“I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain’t that easy. I am a prisoner and so is my creativity. Again, I am truly sorry and I don’t blame ya if ya fed up with waiting for me and this album. But thank u.”
He the ended the Tweets with “Pray.”
Wayne is the second artist to recently publicly blasted Cash Money over album delays. Tyga recently stated he wants off the label. After Wayne’s Tweets, Tyga tweeted out that Wayne is “is LEGEND.” He added “#TheGoldAlbum is going to be my first independent release 2015.”
Toya Wright recently sat down eith VladTV for an interview and dished about her relationship with Lil Wayne’s baby mothers. The conversation then turned to her thoughts on his new girlfriend Christina Milian. Wayne’s baby mama Nivea recently commented that she thought the relationship was a mess and now Toya is weighing in that she agrees.
How they are connected: Nivea has three children with her ex-husband The Dream and she has a son with Lil Wayne. Christina Milian has a daughter with Dream and is now dating Wayne.
So the rumors have been swirling for a while that Lil Wayne is dating Christina Milian and we may now have confirmation. The two showed up holding hands last night at the ESPYS.
Christina was just engaged to Jas Prince and they recently called off their engagement. Now it seems that she has moved on to her label boss. If they are indeed a couple the two has some interesting exes. She was married to The Dream and has a daughter with him. The Dream was married to singer Nivea who he has children with. Nivea has a son with Lil Wayne. Basically, her ex-husband’s ex-wife is her new man’s baby mama.
Word is Jas is hurt by their relationship as he was once friendly with Wayne and is the one who introduced Drake to Wayne.
Lil Wayne dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday night and he chatted about his recurring seizures, his kids and retiring. He also talked about his feud with the Miami Heat that led to him blabbing that he slept with Chris Bosh’s wife, Adrienne. He claims that day he “was too turnt up.”
Lil Wayne lost his endorsement deal over his offensive lyrics on Future’s Karate Chop Remix. The line “beat the p*ssy up like Emmett Till” offended the Till family and they petitioned PepsiCo to drop Wayne as the Mountain Dew spokesperson.
The company said in a statement: “We do not plan any additional work with Lil Wayne moving forward. His offensive reference to a revered civil rights icon does not reflect the values of our brand.”
Wayne issued an apology earlier this week but the family found it lacking as a true apology.
