R. Kelly was arrested Wednesday in Chicago for failure to pay child support. The embattled singer went before a judge to hoping to pay around. $50,000 of the $161,000 he owes to his ex-wife, Andrea Kelly.
The judge however was having none of that. He was ordered to pay the full amount or he would arrested. He claimed he does not have that amount so he was taken into custody.
The only way for him to get out now is to pay up. He is due back in court on March 13th.
